In support of the National Logistics Ecosystem (NLE) and the Batam Logistics Ecosystem (BLE), Persero Batam and Deliveree are pleased to announce their partnership to bring digitization and next generation AI to the Batam trucking market. As their flagship, the partners will jointly launch and operate their Logistika Deliveree trucking app and marketplace beginning in August 2023 throughout Batam City.
The Logistika Deliveree app benefits from the immense logistics experience of Logistka’s parent, Persero Batam, who has operated since 1973 as Batam’s leader in sea freight, road cargo, air cargo, stevedoring, and warehousing. It will also benefit from Deliveree’s track-record as Indonesia’s premiere trucking technology company. Together the partners are committed to ensuring the Logistika Deliveree app has a strong impact on the Batam logistics market by increasing truck efficiency and utilization rates and therefore lowering transport costs. This serves to support the goals of NLE and BLE by accelerating growth and success of the Batam logistics market.

With the Logistika Deliveree app, shippers will be able to book box trucks and prime movers with trailers anywhere in Batam for import, export, or general road cargo purposes with a fully digital experience that includes assignment to a professional vendor, live map tracking of the truck and cargo, digital signatures and photos, online payment or invoicing, digital surat jalan, live chat communication tools, and 24/7 live CS support. Trucking vendors will be benefit from the app’s AI schedule optimizer which recommends bookings to each vendor based on their location, schedule, and fleet availability with the goal of substantially increasing their truck utilization. For trucking vendors, this means less fleet idle time, less empty trucks on the road, and more earnings.

The Persero Batam Deliveree partnership is in line with the goals laid out by the NLE, Indonesia’s National Logistics Ecosystem initiated by Presidential decree 5 / 2020 to harmonize and interconnect the logistics industry of Indonesia through the use of data and information technology in order to achieve simplification and interconnectivity, to increase speed and efficiency, and to reduce cost and redundancy.
